MOE schools have placed greater focus on verbal assessments in recent years. In this workshop, students will hone the skill of persuasive speech by presenting on a given topic, or by writing a pitch and delivering it.

Our programme instructor, John Tan, holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English with minors in Creative Writing and Drama and Performance, as well as a Master of Arts in Performance Making.
With over 10 years of experience as a drama trainer, DSA, and English tutor, he is well-equipped to help students develop oratorical skills and become influential speakers.
Pen Power! focuses on building essential writing skills to help young writers excel in their composition exams. Students will learn how to brainstorm ideas, plan their compositions, and organise their thoughts clearly.
By mastering the basics of writing, your child can establish the solid foundations required for future success in English composition exams.
Creative Quills help young writers refine their skills while fostering creativity. Students will be guided on the advanced brainstorming techniques and creative planning methods behind engaging and imaginative stories.
With a focus on enhancing their mastery of descriptive language, storyline development, and improving structure, students will elevate their writing to the next level. This programme is designed to hone their unique voice and creativity while meeting the requirements of the Composition Writing component in school.
Topics covered: Adding and Subtracting Money [P3], Multiplying and Dividing Money [P4]
Come join us as we make the topic of money fun, approachable, and festive!
Students will learn key concepts such as understanding dollars and cents, converting between them, and using the four operations to solve money-related word problems.
They will be bringing home a physical model, built from a hands-on activity at the end of the workshop, that tests their real-world application of the concepts taught.

Join us as we make abstract science concepts come to life!
Students will explore how rate and speed are used in real life and practise solving word problems.
To ensure a memorable and engaging learning session, students will take part in a hands-on activity where they calculate speed and parking charges using a toy car.

Create eco-warriors through scientific concepts!
In Earth Defenders, students can showcase their creativity by honing their observation and analytical skills through a hands-on activity.
To further fuel their interest in Science, students will also be introduced to the concept of Biomimicry and Adaptations in Living Things.
Topics covered: Diversity of Materials [P3], Reproduction in Humans [P5]
Sharpen investigative skills for real-world applications through Science!
After going through the scientific concepts of the Primary 3 and 5 topics, students will be given a mystery to solve, where they will have to apply scientific concepts and experience scientific inquiry by engaging the right skills, dispositions, and attitudes.
